We had an amazing turn out and were 16 in total! A problem resulted in that Circa Café in Amble had other bookings so could only seat 10 of us. Fortunately, everyone was very understanding and it all resolved itself! Our walk took us round the lake, with the majority of the group opting for the stepping stones without any mishaps. Like everywhere else Storm Arwen has left its legacy of fallen trees, now mostly tidied up. From the lake we went down to the beach for a bracing walk into the wind. As we still had some time before lunch some folk left and the rest of us went and enjoyed a well earned coffee sitting outside the Visitor Centre in the sun, before returning to Amble and an excellent meal.
