The February Coffee Morning was very well attended and raised over £700 as a fundraising event. Two very good causes will be supported by the money raised – ShelterBox and Gallery Youth.
ShelterBox provides emergency shelter to families who have lost their home to disaster, enabling them to rebuild their lives. It delivers shelter, blankets, solar lights, mosquito nets, and clean water to families recovering from disaster. They have a specific appeal this year entitled “Lent for Tents.”
Gallery Youth delivers a wide range of support services to people from Alnwick and the surrounding area.
