We had a fabulous turn out to our Domino Drive; the first post-Covid 19!

Our Christian Aid Rep, Sandra Baker organised it to raise funds for this year’s Christians Together in Alnwick, Christian Aid Appeal.

Over 70 people attended, playing games in teams of four. Twenty four games were played; creating a time of fellowship, chat, laughter and such good fun. Prizes were awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Super raffle prizes had been donated to help raise more funds and plenty tickets were bought.

A beautiful spread of mainly homemade food was presented for the supper afterwards – all donated by the good folks of St James’s. Absolutely delicious!

Thanks to all those from the Wednesday “Tea and Chat” group who help to organise the event as well as those volunteers who helped/served or cleared away. It all went so smoothly and was thoroughly enjoyed by all those who attended. We can  not wait until the next one!
