All services during Advent and Christmas were very much appreciated; our first year without a minister. As usual the worship area was beautifully decorated by Madeline and provided a very special atmosphere especially at our Service of Nine lessons and Carols on 22nd December and the Christmas Eve Family service.

The lit candles gave a sense of reverence, warmth and peace. A super version of “Pass the Parcel” brought the meaning of Christmas to life, from the youngest to the oldest, in a joyful Christmas Eve service led by Willie Duncan.

The Elders would like to thank all who took part or helped in any way to make this such a special time in St James’s 2024 Christian Calendar.
